Cypress Computer Systems is founded, beginning a long history of industrial communications and electronic security problem-solving.
2015
Cypress introduces an award-winning OSDP-to-Wiegand converter—described in the company history as the first OSDP product on the market.
2020
OSDP becomes IEC 60839-11-5. Cypress founder Tony Diodato played a critical role in the international-standard effort.
2021
The Security Industry Association honors Diodato with its Standards Service Award for OSDP leadership, education, and advocacy.
2023
The Cypress OSDP COMSET Tool wins Best Design, Diagnostic and Installation Tool in SIA’s New Products and Solutions Awards.
