Connects 1 reader and its door I/O over RS-485 (2-wire), up to 4,000 ft. Add more readers with EXP-2000 Expansion Pairs.

A member of the Reader Extender product family, the SPX-7500 connects 1 or more readers and associated door/gate hardware over any two wire cable, twisted or non-twisted, to any Wiegand or MagStripe based control panel. It also supervises the RS-485 connection. The base pair supports a single door and reader. Using Cypress Suprex technology and the EXP-2000 expansion module allows the addition of as many as 7 doors and readers over the same RS-485 connection.
